Nemr El Sotary. Media Planner
Middle Eastern born and an Electronics Engineer graduate from the AAST Cairo, Nemr El Sotary entered the communication field as an Account Executive for Grey Worldwide.
Nemr climbed the ladder at Grey working in several categories for leading brands such as Nokia, Emirates Airline, P&G, Bongrain, Zain Communication (Celtel), and Fraport to become an Account Manager. After being exposed to Media, Nemr shifted his career focus into the field that he most loved, Media Planning.
He joined ZenithOptimedia as a Media Planner for their Cairo office handling the planning and bookings for Toyota, Groupe Bel, LG, Carrier and other advertising agencies in the Publicis Groupe in the Pan-Arab market.
Nemr recently moved to the Bay Area joining Just Media, starting on the new and exciting learning curve of integrating his regional media planning experience with US media and B2B practices as a Media Planner on Fujitsu, Autonomy, and Applied Materials.
Nemr is a San Francisco admirer, a languages lover, a Judo tutor, and practices a 15 minute Tai Chi act every day. He found a Beirut breeze and Middle Eastern warmth in Berkeley. Nemr misses sharing a chilly beer with old school buddies watching everyone's (except Dick's) favorite team, Liverpool, in the Premier League.
