Paul Spyksma
Director of Business Development

 

 

 

Paul Spyksma joined Just Media after 21 years on the publishing side of technology media, including stints with Miller Freeman, CMP, and Fawcette Technical Publications. Most recently, Paul was Vice President of the FTP Network, managing integrated media buys and developing custom publishing projects across print, online and conferences for companies such as IBM, Sun, Intel, Hewlett Packard, and BEA. Having had Just Media as a client, Paul was familiar with Just Media’s skills and professionalism, and listened carefully when Dick Reed suggested working together.

In addition to graduate work in Marketing and Business Administration, Paul holds a degree in English Literature, and consequently is liable to make suggestions regarding where to place a comma or avoiding sentences in the passive voice. A native of Chicago, Paul arrived in California in 1989, but still retains his Midwestern Sensibilities. (Ask a Midwesterner about it if you aren’t familiar with them.) When not busy with business development for Just Media, Paul is frequently spotted singing baroque and jazz choral music with various groups around the Bay Area.
